You really don't get it, do you?

You changed the piston rings, the ONLY thing the bike needed. A one day job, at most.
Instead, you kept me there for a week, all that rubbish about Toyota piston, and Maza valves and all the ...what did you call it? 'mechanic kung-fu'?

All so you could rort almost 6 million rupeehs from me. But who cares right? farangs are just walking ATMS anyway...
You are a dishonest and insanely arrogant man, that's all there is to it. And that's all anyone else to know. With 4 HU posts covered now, there will hopefully be far fewer riders you can steal from.
My job here is done.

@ Laura.

Thank you for warning others here on the Hubb.

I understand how difficult it is to deal with smiling and incompetent mechanics, but I guess you learned your lesson as well - as we all do every day.

another review from my guest

[IMG]][/IMG]

Rocketz.
Roby, I can't thank you enough for your hospitality that you gave me during my stay in Solo. Thank you for servicing my bike and improving the suspension with your skill and experience. Also, I must thank you and your beautiful family for being so friendly, helpful, patient and treating me as one of your family members. Very much appreciated.

If anyone is in need of servicing, repairs, upgrading their bike and you're on the island of Java, Indonesia - this is the place to go. Plenty of hotels, home stays, guesthouses and restaurants so its a perfect place for a little rest.

Brother, Roby we will ride together somewhere, sometime in the future!
Cheers from Daryl Rolinson

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
