Travel to Hamberg then onto Berlin and Poland
I am looking at taking a trip from the UK (London) across into Germany, and Poland. Thing is my time is short (10 days max) and want to maximise my time without having to put in too many miles a day (250 max).
Has anyone got any recommened routes from Southern UK to Poland. I looked at DFS seaways to Denmark, but its a little too long at sea 18 hours I believe, then from Harwich to Hook of Holland, but again it does take some time and I wondered if I would be better off crossing via EuroTunnel and driving up into Holland and then off into Germany. Problem is the distance and the time I have to do this so the next question (and I cannot find an answer to this one is)
What rail services could I drop my bike onto in order to get from say France to Germany, or beyond. It could be that a rail and bike service is the ideal choice for getting to the start of the trip, rather than driving the distances involved.
anyways is someone could recommend a train service thats covers parts of the above that would be helpful in understanding if its doable
Cheers
