On the noisy corner 15 mins taxi or 30 mins bus from the airport and 2 mins walk for moto rentals Loc2 Roues or Tenere Riders. Blvd can be noisy on weekends with wheelie hoons and minstrels; ask for a back room.
I use booking - about 500dh with a good buffet brekkie. It's the best in the vicinity; I've tried them all.
Loads of restos nearby, and BdC round the corner (better than airport rates).

Now 400HB but still a great deal in a lovely valley. He even gave us a picnic lunch! On the TMT.
Kasbah Izza, north of Kelaa on the R317

Was aiming for nearby Kasbah Itran but that had a wedding on.
Nicely done rooms, loads of behind wall parking but seemed a bit unfinished outside.
600dh HB with a truly awful 'sardine fishball' tajine + obsequious matey sitting there on his phone while we ate was a bit annoying. On the TMT.
Auberge Camping Baddou, a few km N of Nekob on Route Z5, near TMT.

Tried this new place out of town but garden wasn't quite as nice as on booking, and rooms and salon were basic. Worked out 600HB iirc - more than I normally pay.
Kasbah Adrar, Imilchil north end
32.16603, -5.62977
Nice to come back to Mustapha's place after years, easily spotted just out of town on the right. Feels neglected/dormant and rooms are literally a bed in a room + en suite, but easy to find and away from the throng. On the TMT.
300HB
Auberge Tissadrine, Dades gorge, just below the hairpins, on TMT
31.52211, -5.92907
There are loads and loads of places strung along the R704 from B.Dades to Imilchil, but Tissadrine is more hotel than auberge and well worth 500dh HB over the counter, (500dh B&B on booking) and probably negotiable.
imo. Warm welcome, nice interior and rooms, 5 course meal, barking dogs. Avoid Babylon over the road, I was told.

I'd read of this place and we were passing by so gave it a go.
Set in a red stone Amazigh hillside village, it was just 1 euro for a non-ensuite room + €10 'tax' on booking, but then a steep 210dh for ordinary evening meal and brekkie. Village looks amazing from the roof, but inside the ancient dar, a jumble of basically converted small rooms and shared ablutions.
Has a nice little terrace and all-up a bit of an experience, but not the 'exceptional' booking rating, unless you've been mule trekking for days or never been elsewhere in the mountains, like Anergui.
