Argentina, Azul - Moto Guest House

La posta del viajero en moto.

The outpost for motorcycle-travelers

Jorge and Monica provide a garage, and a dormitory-style appartment. Camping facility,s and lot,s more.... all for free.

On the street: Mendoza 685 in Azul. (just follow the street, you won,t miss it unless you are blind)
Or check your GPS: S 36.47,446 W 59.52,254

Ofcourse you would leave something in the donation-box... and maybe even bring them a little souvenir from somewhere?

Maarten

Stayed overnite at Jorge n Monica compound on March 18,2012. They mighty great to meet someone from South East Asia. I arrived late in the afternoon but Jorge more than happy to let me pitch up camp and show me around. Some Amigo before me have left a short note on the fridge something like this ....the cost to stay here is 30 Peso per person per day for water, electricity, toilet paper etc etc..
Azul is a nice place to stop over..

jorge, monica and peny are great hosts!

I stopped in on the 24th of May, the day before Argentina's National Day, and shared in their "motolocro" celebration with a group of the family's friends.

Very welcoming environment and everyone associated with La Posta has a fun attitude. Highly recommend to anyone to stop by!

They have a room next to the garage with 3 beds, and they are happy for people to camp in their surrounding garden. There is a kitchen with gas stove and plenty of cutlery, a little bit sparse on cooking equipment, plenty of space with tables and chairs. Garage with tools. They have a pond with ducks and flamingos!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
