We stayed in KOALA DEN BACK PAKER'S HOSTEL on Junin 56, Villa Imperial de Potosí. Its litte tricky to get there- JUNIN is one way street, and from city centre is close for trafick. You just need to go little around.

Owners are very nice pepole, they have 2 hostels- you park on the other one. Its just 100 meter away, down the road. We park there 4 motorbikes, its possible maybe 2 more, if you good at tetris. They have special platforms to help drive inside, floor is a bit slippery. Bikes are very safe and rain protected. Hostel have wi-fi (nice), brekfast (nice), common area (nice), hot showers, and HEATING!(you will love it- we where on winter time...)

They also make a trips to Potosi silver mine 2 times per day. Price is low, and you need to buy a gifts for miners for about 2-3usd per person. In Potosi is also Mint/Coint museum. Both museum and mine are really good and worth of see.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
