We are 1 km from the center of the village of Colonia Yguazu and 100 meters from the N2 road on an easy access metalled road, the bus can drop you off on the way.
Colonia Yguazu is a quiet village where time passes gently in the middle of a Japanese community with also many French speakers, 40 km from Iguazu Falls, the Itapúa dam, Salto Monday and Ciudad Del Este. Good base for visiting Iguazu Fall and the Ciudad d'El Este region. In the village, we have a cheese shop (Swiss and French cheeses + German cold meats + French terrine and pâté and nearby, Lake Iguazu with its islands and beaches, its Paraguayan fishermen-farmers, Japanese culture with its restaurants, temple Buddhist, doctor, masseur, acupuncturist, dance, etc.

We organize visits to the village's Swiss cheese factory, the beaches and the island of Lake Yguazu! and the Circuito Vivencial del Mundo Guaraní! (national park of Guarani culture)

Possibility of French breakfasts with baguette, croissant butter, honey, jam, fruit. Top quality. 35,000 GS per person.

And to promote our village a little, we offer;
A visit to the Swiss cheese factory followed by a
raclette (90,000 PYG per person or 10.5 Euro)
Half and half melt (90,000 PYG per person)
Tartiflette (90,000 PYG per person or 10.5 Euro)
Cheese and charcuterie platter with homemade bread (100,000 PYG per person or 11.5 Euro

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
