1200 GS Tires in Mendoza - Help!
Hi All,
I can get rear tires for my 1200 at BMW in Mendoza but the cost is a little steep, anyone know of any places around here where I may pick up a 150-70-17 tubless tire - off road would be better? I also need to find a 130-80-17 for friends I´m travelling with, same issue!
Go on you know you want to help....!!
Cheers
Nik

Thanks I got it, sent you one back.
I've just recieved a mail from BMW saying they can't find a tire as the last one was sold. Still it saves me the bother of paying the $677 they wanted for a Enduro 3 which wont fit my bike anyway....
So the question is where do I find a tire around here that fits my bike! May be I should get the spare set sent so I can put them on, but really I like to save them for Patagonia.
Will keep trying.

Keep the TKC in DAKARMOTOS for later.Let Javier send you a Karoo for half the price they are asking in Mendoza.
He can do it via bus.TAC is a good and serious bus company. They do paket service.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
