Accomadation north of BS?

Hi All,

Just checking if anyone knows a biker friendly campsite, hostel or hotel north of Buenos Aires on the way through to Uraguay.

Want to pick the bike up and head that way, but would like to find a place so I'm not stressing about a place to sleep that night!

Cheers

Nik

You pick up the bike in BA? and then you ride tor Uruguay?
You can find some place to stay in Gualeguaychu(before the international bridge)or in Fray Bentos(Uruguay).I was in this last city and it is fine.Very frendly people.
Check your map for distances from BA.
When do you plan to be in BA?

Thanks for that.

I'll be BS on next week - 25th, but will be staying in a hostel until I can get the bike ( I'm hoping I'll be able to pick it up on Friday at the latest)

Its arriving by ship and is being handled by PlusCargo. Will take a look at the links and see where they are. I was going to pop in so hopefully see you then!

Cheers

Nik

Hey!

There's a nice camping in a place called "Capilla del Señor", just one hour north from Buenos Aires. I think that's the closest to Buenos Aires and it's just a few kilometres away from the route to Gualeguyachu (what a name...). Look here: http://www.capillaweb.com.ar/camping/

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
