BR10 instead of PA 150
Hey mate,
I took BR 10 instead of PA 150 because a got some information that, PA 150 it´s not a federal road so the chances of a bad road was big, it´s longer way bur I had no problems coming down when I arrived in Sao Paulo, stayed for a few days and then took the BR 116 " Castelo Branco, 4 lanes and perfect roads untill curitiba and from there BR 277 to Foz do Iguaçu, some parts of BR 277 are not one way, so you may have to go slow in some parts, but no pot holes and loads of services, some tolls also but good roads.
I live at Iguaçu, give a shall when you get here so we can have a drink ok
safe journey

Hendi,
Igorshen, thread at ADVrider took a nice route along the beach , which is always the best, but also at some points over the inside country. Good photos too.
Another Canadian, took from Belem the amazon river by boat, but he said that, it wasn't worth the whole river because of the boat's slow pace and it was a road parallel to it at some point in its way to Manaus. He then regreted not taking that road.
I donno your plans along Brazil. Gaston

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
