anyone know of a good moto shop in peru? I am in cuzco now and the front brake hose has moved and rubbed on the disc. the steel has worn through but not all through the inner . the brake workes ok but I dont know if its a good idea to leave it with all these mountain roads about . I dont think I will find a x challenge one but maybe a KTM one will be good ?

A few streets past the office where you buy your Machu Picchu entry ticket is moto street, half way down on the left (orange window I think) on a corner is a really helpfully moto shop, the young guy who runs it sorted me new friction material to be put on my old pads, they are still going strong two countries later. He's the sort of guy that know where to get stuff done, he'll probably be able to get one custom made.
They did oil changes for us as well for next to nothing.
By the way the rear pads for the XCH are the same as a Pulsar 220 we found out at his shop!

Contact Alex at MotoToursPeru in Cusco, he is exceptionally helpful. If you make it to Lima, there are several options, including a BMW shop, but I am sure you already know that. PM me if you need more info about Lima.

I am looking for a good garage to fix my brake disc in Lima. I have I`ve just arrived to Lima and my rear brake disc is slightly bent. I need to fix it before putting new brake pads on. Anyone know a place to fix it?
Thanks

The brake disc is bent, I need to aline it or straighten it. It happened when one of the bolts that hold the disc got loose and made some damage.
