NO, the car belongs to you but registered to the country where you have purchased, if it’s from your own country outside South America you have the right to travel with your vehicle as a tourist in other countries but not to sell it, means that if you bring a vehicle will be here under what is call a “Temporal Importation for tourism purposes” what usually is a formal compromise that you will take your belongs with you when you exit a country, you are not formal “Importing” a car (final importation).
