Question Equipment information for Argentina

Hi folks, I need some informantion about what equipmrnt is required in a vehicleby the Argentine goverment.
I know someone out there will know this even though this is not motorcycle related.
We are preparing for a trip from Brazil to Peru starting on Feb 20 and need to have the trucks equipted.
I know that 2 tringle flags and first aid kit are required and something about a tow cable, but what else is required.

Thanks in advance;
Blaze

Nada en especial

I think that argentinian laws are relaxed in bikes safety regulations.
Remember if you are coming down the ruta 14 corrupt cops will tell you diferent.
Only insurance and a valid drivers license is required.(international better)
Buen viaje

Only for comercial trucks

we have a 3,5 tons Mercedes truck.Privatley registered not for comerial use.
So nothing of a towing rope etc.But its not a bad idea to have one. They sell those kinetic towing ropes.A showel is a handy thing to have too.
I think you can ask better here

You need a white linen in some states so that you can be covered if you die but..nobody will bother you in Buenos Aires if you dont wear a helmet...amazing Argentina =)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
