I bought a Honda front sprocket in Lima, but don't remember from which model. You might post the question on the KLR650 group on Yahoo.

In Panama, the Kawasaki dealer Consultenos on Av. Tumba Muerto - Tel 236-4111) might have it, but they usually don't have many parts for the big bikes. International Motors handles Honda - Tel: 264-0010. Another try would be MPH, an independent shop that has a lot of parts - tel: 264-2901

If you are still around David (just over the border from Costa Rica) call Paul Donohoe on his cell at 6632-4704. He has a couple of KLRs and usually imports some extra parts that he is willing to sell.

In general you can find pretty much whatever you need for any bike in Colombia. You can get the parts here in Cali as well!

You're welcome anytime. Are you flying from Panama? If you fly to Cali I can help you with customs if you want!

Cheers
Mike

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
