Lima Hostel Recommendations?

Hi,
does anyone have any hostel recommendations for Lima? We'll need parking for 2 bikes and I'll need them to accept a package for me, ideally for a reasonable (i.e. low) price. Any suggestions would be appreciated,
Cheers,
Jordan

We stayed at the HitchHikers Backpackers in Miraflores. We had 2 bikes as well and there was plenty of secure parking within it's gates. Clean and well run. We payed $19 for 2 people. Easy to catch a bus or taxi into central Lima from here.

I second the HitchHiker great little hostal, nice people, safe. close to Park Kennedy.

Did a whole bunch of maintenance in their yard too.

I had some things shipped to a friend and we had to reverse the shipment because it got stuck in Customs, total nightmare to get out. Reason being there was a GPS and a phone in the package and they wanted technical documents and some special permit to release the items.

Just be aware that receivng packages in South America is not always easy...

Treble!

I treble the Hitchhiker in Miraflores. It is on the 3rd or 4th block of Grau. On the 3rd block (Grau 350) is the Hotel Antigua de Miraflores. David Wroughton, the owner is an expat and friend since childhood. The place is VERY NICE, but Dave said he would take 30% off for any friends of mine who were in town for to see the DAKAR.

I think David would be fine to recieve a package (NO DRUGS!) for you, even if you don't stay there. Just use my name.

I will be staying there myself, arriving 2 am on the 13th of Jan.

Friends Hostal is a very good option for a cheap stay w/moto parking.

If you'd like a nice hotel room for very cheap try Solis Diez, just off Parque Kennedy, with very nice rooms for $25 to $30. Good hot water, cable & daily service of your room. Very nice.

Thanks for all the suggestions, we ended up staying at the Hitchhiker Hostel, it was great with excellent moto and 4x4 parking.
Cheers,
Jordan.
