Montivideo to Ushuaia Jan 2019
I'm leading a group of riders on big bikes i.e GS's from Montivideo down to Ushuaia in Jan 2019. We are sending a container in on Jan 11th and reloading 4 weeks later.
Our idea is to run down through Patagonia and back up via Santiago and stay in a mix of motel and camping.
Does anyone have any route suggestions, must see's and any general advice which we may not have thought about?

I've just come back after three months ib Argentina (mainly). Ruta 3 south from BA is not very interesting Ruta 40 has better scenery. Very do-able on a GS as I was two up on my old Africa Twin.
I met you with your group in Fairbanks Alaska on my way north from Ushuaia.
PM me and I'll give you my phone number if you wish to have a chat about it.

It's a bit vague at the moment but I'll get working on it and let you know. Will be the weekend as work has a terrible habit of getting in the way of the good stuff

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
