Never miss the Colombia..!!! Please..
Ït´s been 1 year, round the world on my F650GS from L.A.USA.
After I spent 1 month in Colombia and Venezuela,I will say
¨Never miss the Colombia, but you can Venezuela except but angel fall¨
The road condition is 100% good paved with good signs with almost no traffic.
WHy? The people here not so rich to manage the car,pay the toll.
However,if you ride the motorcycle,it´s the free, you don´t need to pay.
WHy? Because you are the speciall ..
So I really enjoy the ride with no traffic all over the colombia..
Even though I didn´t wear the vest, marked with licence plate number which is ¨must to do in Colombia¨,I don´t have any problem. The police and millitary guys never ever touch me. I was an Untouchable when I ride..
WHy? Because you are the tourist..
When I ask a cheap motel to motorcycle police, they said
¨Vamos!!¨(Follow me..!!) then start the ignition..Sometimes,they have to spend 1 more hour to find the motel with parking space..Wow..
When I ask a direction on the street, the people said
¨Vamos..!!(Go with me..!!),then usually spent half an hour to find the place
then said ¨Welcom to Colombia..!!¨ Wow..It´s just unbelivable..
Also, the girls here is just fantastic..They have a great looking with warm heart.. I really like to marry someone and live here after I finish 4 year journey..
Lastly, this country has so much mountains all over the country,so the view from the seat is just spectacular with cool and mild weather.
I said this, because I realy hate the flat, hot, soaking road with no scenery in Venezuela. I got a inflammtion because of that. My eyes are very bloody now,so I´m resting here in Equador..I think the only good thing in Venezuela is the cheap(almost free) price of gasoline.
SO guys..
If you are a single, like me,and plan to ride through South Ameirca
Never,Ever,miss the Colombia..!!!
Please..
I said again.
Please...

P.S. Is there someone in Peru to buy the SHOEI sheild on internet for me?
I don´t have a credit card.So I will meet you then pay you with great thanks..Please help me..

Pleased to hear of your progress
We live in Cheonan, 84 kms south of Seoul. Have watched for your postings but this is the first one we have seen. Wish we could help somehow on the shield, but can't figure a way to do it. pm me about where you will be in one month and give me an address. I think I can get one sent to wherever you are once I am back in the states where my credit cards are good. Be The Reds!

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
