Matt did they give you any bike entry papers in Desaguadero on the Bolivian side?
Cause when I got to Villazon, the Bolivia - Argentina border, I was told I should have some sort of an entry document from Desaguadero for my bike. I told them nobody paid any attention to the bike there and it´s not my fault the Desaguadero border police couldn´t be bothered.
In Villazon, they first said they should impound my bike as I seemed to have entered Bolivia íllegally´; I went berserk on them so they just let me pass to Argentina and pretend I never was in Bolivia on a bike on the Argentine side, I got issued bike entry papers (same on Argentine-Chilean border etc). No probs ever since.
Guess Desaguadero´s just EVIL
