Rental in Mendoza

Hello - I'm planning a surprise 50 bd trip for my husband. I'd like to rent a motorcycle in Mendoza but don't have any info on how to get started. My husband is a very experienced rider and we've cycled throughout the US and Mexico. Can anyone help?

Pretty nice birthday present!

Can you be a little more specific - what is it you want to know - and which Mendoza?

Rentals in much of South America are very limited. For some ideas on what is available see our links page, or Tour Companies page - links on left menu. For a first trip, often the easiest way is a tour, or if you really want to do it on your own - good! - then try renting from a tour company. Their bikes aren't usually going full time, so you may be able to get a good price and lots of good info.

have a great trip!

These guys are very pricey, but they have new 1200GS and 1200GS Adventures.

bike rental

I have rented a bike here for Jan. and was real happy working with them. I got their name and address from another guy that rented from them last year.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
