Info on new NX400 Honda Falcon Buenos Aires

Mollydog, we will be back in Buenos aires in 2 weeks.

Meanwhile, please contact GENAMAX S.L.R. the very first Honda agency in Argentina, located at Av. Juan B. Justo 7550, Capital Federal tel/fax (from USA) 011 54 11 4671-2558 speak to Jorge Nakadakare himself Offical Honda agent...or Louis for exact cost of a new Falcon in Buenos Aires. Also, they will have a handle on the used market for this bike. Jorge will be more than helpful and might even offer you a buy back deal when your ride is over... this makes buying a bike and touring Argentina more economical in the long run.

I would guess the cost of a new Falcon today is less than $7,000.00 US dollars.............. this would be approx $21,000 Argentine pesos @3 pesos to 1 US Dollar. Not sure of exact exchange rate.

I believe the Tornado NX250 is selling new for around $5,000.00 US dollars. Google Honda motorcycles Argentina to get more accurate info and pecs on the two bikes.

If you want to fly in to Buenos Aires in September 08, we can assist you in legally buying a new or used bike or any other motor vehicle.

Keep reading Buy in Argentina thread for the next update on the Harley Sportster.

A young Frenchman recently had a Falcon for sale in BA (see my thread). Don't know if he sold it or not. xfiltrate

The question that I have is there going to be any problem with with all of us if we buy a few KLR's here in the States and ride them to Brazil? Will they try to charge us duties on the bikes even if we are coming into Brazil by land? Also, are there any laws restricting foreigners from buying bikes here in the US? Will they need an international drivers license to be able to ride in the US?

Thanks

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
