shipping from PERU to AUSTRALIA
hello everyone. I am ABhishek from India. Planning for a round the world trip. Can my fellow bikers help me to tell or give an idea of how much does the shipping of a bike will cost from Peru to Australia. Also a friend will be joining so is their any concession if two bikes shipped together by air. Read some threads in which it was mentioned(or is it just for shipping by water in containers)
Please support and your help is really appreciated.
Also details about shipping the bike from Morocco to Montreal,Canada will be appreciated.
Thanks and regards
Abhishek

Shipping by sea is cheaper, but takes longer. Air lifting, faster and more expensive. Which do you have more, time or money?
You'll find some reports here. Best to keep your search broad, like South America to Europe to get results from Ecuador to Spain...

PS: You should search for air cargo deals that Air Canada is offering for adventure riders. Air Canada services Europe, not sure about north Africa.

Peru would require transshipment, but there are direct flights from Australia to Chile. Contact Qantas Freight and LATAM Cargo for quotes - the latter might even transship to Peru if the bike is crated...

Check with this service. A French rider I met in northern Argentina used this service in Lima, a couple of months ago. They provide storage and TIP suspension services too.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
