Any help is much appreciated.

Shipping Suriname to Holland
1. I used Laparkan in Paramaribo Suriname to ship to Holland (Ocean Freight).
SURINAME
bjorno.karsowidjojo@laparkan.com
They have been very helpful, but as I understand is common in ocean freight, my ship was delayed about 4 weeks from its expected sail date (c 8 weeks total wait). I happened to meet someone from Honda Paramaribo, and he assisted Laparkan with the draining of gas & oil, and was kind enough to grab an old crate from Honda and help with crating. Total cost is supposed to be about US$1,000 for F800GSA. Air cargo a no go (IME). Suriname Airways is a total clown show (long story)
I was waiting to collect the bike (in c 2 weeks) before I posted the review/information on Suriname-Holland shipping.
2. FYI, Porto Velho-Manaus-Georgetown, Paramaribo- report here:

3. Any more information, recent experiences, etc on the original thread topic of- Best way to Egypt from Europe- is greatly appreciated.
