Tires wanted in La-Paz or Cusco
Hola….
I Ride Super Tenere with 90/90-21¨ (BRIDGESTONE TW-47) and
140/80-17¨ (PIRELLI MT 60) which are realy in bad condition.
I´m looking for on/off road tires, like the one I have or something equivilent,
in La-Paz, unfortunatly with no sucses at the moment.
Would be happy to get info that will help me find the tires in La-Paz
OR
Dillers capeable shipping it to me from Cochabamba, Santa-Cruz… in Bolivia or Cusco& Lima in Peru.

Cusco I bought MT21 knobbies at the Honda dealer. No longer have card but ask at the Cusco Moto Tours for directions.

Go to distrito San Pedro in La Paz, where all the car dealers are, there are also 2 or 3 motorbike dealers as well!
I am sure they can order you a tire from Sucre, takes about 3 days to get it!

You also could use a 120-90-17, that one is easy to find and a lot cheaper!
I use that one on my BMW F650GS and i saw an Italian guy who is living in Brasil using it as well on his Super Tenere! Would be a good option! If you see an Yamaha XT in the country you know you can get that tire for sure!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
