Yamaha TT600E
This bike is basically an aircooled XT600 engine in a YZ frame. It is good on dirt and has an electric start which is why I bought it.
I got it from David Lambeth in October this year and I am currently riding around South America on it.
I was thinking of selling it in Peru or Ecuador in early February and save myself the headache of shipping it back to the UK.
The bike is a 98 model on a (British) R plate. It has about 34k kilometers on the clock and I suspect I will add another 8-9k before I am done.
David Lambeth prepared it for the trip. It has an 18 l Acerbis tank, heavy duty Acerbis handguards with an alloy insert and a soft luggage system David recommended consiting of two panniers with a top bag that sits across them and attaches to the panniers with heavy duty velcro. David also fabricated a small rack to keep the luggage away from the exhaust and to provide tying off points. So far it has worked well and doubles as a comfy backrest on long days in the saddle.
The bike also has heavy duty innertubes (with anti puncture goo in them), a cigarette lighter style power outlet for your GPS and a "Bumwraps" reworked seat to minimise the numb bum effect.
My set of travelling spares will also come with the bike.
The cost of this fine vehicle is 2,950 pounds or near offer.
