I don't need the CDC to tell me that almost all the shots needed for the Americas are shots you should be getting as a matter of course even if you never leave New Zealand. Measles, mumps, chicken pox, tetanus, diptheria, pertussis, polio, smallpox, the two hepatitis variants..... The few you might want to add are typhoid and yellow fever, with rabies an outside possibility if you're trying to be thorough and can get someone else to pay for it.
If you're finding yourself lacking anything on the first list, you've been negligent. The first three, of course, are age-dependent; if you're in your mid-fifties you may have had all of these, as I did.
WHO (World Health Organization) is another reliable, non-hysterical source of information. Google it.
