Correct.
Few months ago I got insurance for Laos and I always double check. As long as it is a road, even a very bad road, it is ok. True off roading is not covered.
I usually use Navigator as they are competitive in pricing. But I will check out BigCat for our big next trip.
One word of warning. Some insurances may cover motorcycling, of any size but… read carefully the contract or call them before buying. Most limit to only 15 days, even if you buy for months!
Best double check direct with them.
