The route you are suggesting is fairly straightforward. The last part will require more planning, particularly Libya to make sure you have correct invites / guides etc - what ever is required when you go through. East coast is straight, get visas on the border up to Ethiopia, Sudan needs a visa to be acquired in Addis Ababa. Egypt normally has a load of paper work and is a hassle on the border getting in. You also have to get a boat to cross the Sudan Egypt border. There is a regular ferry for foot passengers that I believe can take bikes but vehicles require a different infrequent barge. You can get stuck there for a while. You can't go from Algeria to Morrocco across the land border. You either have to go down into Niger / Mali / Mauritania / Western Sahara Morrocco or get a ferry out of Algeria to Europe. Have fun.
Other than searching this site, try africaoverland.net for specific expedition websites for ideas / maps / etc. Also try lonely planet guides, Chris Scott's Sahara Overland, Tom Shepards Expedition guide.
