Angola guide book?
Hi folks
Does anyone know of a decent guide book for Angola?
I see Bradt covers most of the rest of the west coast of Africa, but can't find anything by Lonely Planet, Bradt or any other recognisable brand for Angola.
Our departure date is set - 4th October 2008 - Bring it on!!!
Thanks
Steve

Angola guide book
Hi,
We have the printed version. It has some rudimentary info but basically says "don't go there". But that's rubbish. The country side is pretty and the people are lovely. In the coastal area's the mines have been cleared but if you go to the east, mines are still a problem.
Don't let them scare you away.
Cheers,
Noel

WELL WHAT A FANTASTIC WRITE-UP ! !
I have just spent about an hour or so, totally taken up by your fantastic trip.
that ride up the narrow strip "doodsakker" was brilliant.
It's not often I can read so many pages, without losing attention.
But the capture was from page one to the very last.
Great pictures, esp. the girls, just love them smiles and cute titties.
All the best
Graham

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
