DRC Visa in Libreville, Gabon
Hi!
Another place to get the DRC visa easily is Libreville, capitol of Gabon. I received it also within 24 hours and the cost was CFA40,000 for 1 month (did not ask about a longer stay visa, sorry). Two passport photos and complete the form at the embassy. Submit before 15h00 and collect around 15h00 the following day.
There are lots of taxis all over the city that could take you there (sorry, I don't know the address and Google Maps doesn't show the street names). Note that in Libreville you stop a taxi, say where you'd like to go and how much you'd like to pay. If you offer too little, the taxi driver will simply drive off. Proposed fares are accepted/rejected depending on the time of day and what the driver expects congestion to be like at the specific time on the specific route.
Not even a hint of corruption at the embassy!
Note that on entry into the DRC you may be asked for a passport photograph to be stapled to the entry form. I was not asked for one on entry, but definitely on exit and they were happy with the one I (neatly) tore from the Intl Drivers License (the one for Nigeria, which I would not need again).
NB!!! I was quite amazed to find that at both the entry point from Cabinda and the exit point near Songololo (east of Matadi) they had a generator and scanner, complete with satellite internet connection - probably best not to take any chances with the dates on your DRC visa.
