Kenia in March
Hi guys,
i will go to Kenia for 3 weeks in march 2023.
Do you have experiences driving motorcycle there? Any hints for traveling & sights?
I want to go from Nairobi to Mombassa, check out some National parks on the way and then enjoy the beach life.
thanks for any help
Cheers

You'll find that you can't travel through Kenyan Nat'l parks on a motorcycle. But you'll be passing near Amboseli, Kimana Sanctuary, Tsavo E & W. All of these have places to camp or stay outside the park and you can go in on game drives, usually charged by each drive.
There is also Chyulu Hills, which I think you might be able to go to on a motorcycle, but there is much less wildlife there. It depends on what you're looking for.
Nairobi National Park right next to the capital is also an easy win for a day trip/game drive

After research i found two providers for rental bikes in Nairobi.
IrideNairobi and enquiries@trismotorcycles.com.
The Tris have Concorde 165 and charge 12 € per Day.
iRideNairobi rent Kibo 250 cc and charge 35 USD per Day.,
The concorde was shity, they gave it to me and indicator wasnt working, back tyre was empty and the steering bearing was hell lose. #
So i went for the kibo. Good bike for Africa. indicater fail after some kms, but thats not wild. But the guys are very unorganised. So everything takes very long. Get the bikes one day after it was agreed and even than very late at the day. Communication was also not so good.
Just if it helps someone

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
