Thumbs up renting motorbikes in NAMIBIA

hello

I would like to rent 2 or 3 motorbikes in Namibia in the end of Abril. Approx. 10 days.

I’m not looking for good looking BMWs! Although I like BMWs! :-) Can be an old Yamaha, honda, BMW or something else. Something that can be used off road and not very expensive . Any suggestion?
thanks

hola Bernardo,

I have been also looking recently at Namibia.

For cars, it seems it is very popular to rent them from Cape town and it is possible to get into Namibia. Most tourists leave then their rented car in Windhoek.
So if it is possible for cars... it should be possible for bikes?

In Cape town there are lots of rental possibilities for bikes.

Worth considering.

Cheers,

Maria is right. You could rent a bike in CT or Pretoria. But it's a 2-day ride to NAM from there - and the same back. So nearly a week lost...

Here's another try: Motorcycle rental | Namibia

Renting bikes is always fairly expensive compared to motorcars.... It doesn't make a big difference whether it's a Beemer or any other bike. Except for the 1200GS

You could try a German address: Gravel-travel.de They do most of their trips in NAM and keep single cylinder enduros on a ranch near Windhoek. As far as I know, they don't only offer guided tours, but also rent their bikes out.
