SPANA needs six wells
SPANA is the charity that looks after the horses that pull the caleches in Marrakech and elsewhere, it works all over North Africa, microchipping working animals, providing animal drinking fountains, and running mobile veterinary clinics.
Remarkably it was started by two Englishwomen who visited Morocco in the 1920s, see https://spana.org/about-us/spana-story
SPANA needs your help once more. Refuges from the conflict in Mali have settled in Mauritania together with literally hundreds of thousands of animals and SPANA wants to construct six wells, drilling down into the aquifer beneath them.
They only need £42,000—a drop in the ocean for us. I've just gift aided £30. If another 1,200 people did the same they would meet their target.
