Tyres in Namibia?

Hey guys,

Am currently in Namibia and looking for two new Enduro front tyres (preference is Conti or michelin)
Does anyone know where i can get these/have contacts?
Windhoek seems like the place?
Many thanks

Look for the BMW motorbike workshop. If I remember correctly you leave the city centre eastwards on the Sam Nujoma Drive, over the hill and about a km further on take the Nelson Mandela Ave turning off left (northwards). After roughly 1 km (?) there's a fuel station on the right hand side with a bike shop.

Good luck.

Yes, I think they sell both Kawa and BMW. The BMW carshop (much bigger and easier to find) know where it is.

I'll second that. Excellent guy. He overnighted some spares for us from Windhoek 2 weeks ago, rebuilt one of our disassembled bikes, mounted two rears, changed two front tubes, sold us 5? tubes, and got all the work done from 3pm to 10am the next day. Our total bill was less than 1000 Rand (about $120 USD if I remember correctly).

I think he can get pretty much anything you need from Windhoek overnight for almost no charge (other than the parts cost of course).
