Visa trail Dakar to Ghana
I've some some research on this and want to verify that the info is still accurate (a lot of the posts are two years old or more).
I'm in Dakar but don't particularly want to get a lot of visas here and as I'm not 100% committed to going beyond Freetown I'd rather get them on the way.
Does the following plan sound good?
Gambia and back into Senegal I don't need a visa.
Guinea Bissau in Ziguinchor.
Guinea (Conakry) in Bissau. (I'm thinking to get a double entry as an escape route if I can't get onward visas in Sierra Leone, Liberia or Ivory Coast)
Sierra Leone in Banjul (or possibly Conakry, though I'd happily avoid Conakry)
Liberia in Freetown.
Ivory Coast??? Conakry or Monrovia? Monrovia would be better but I can't find info on this.
Ghana? I know it's notoriously difficult and Ouga is normally the place. What about Abidjan or somewhere else on my rout? Are "gifts" of Cohiba cigars likely to get me out of a hole or are Ghanaian consuls black and white regarding issuing of visas?
Any help on this would be great as I'm basically in Dakar until I decide how to move forward.
