Hi Omar,
Im not sure about Rwanda/ Burundi, but for sure you can get a TIP for malawi and and Zim doesnt require a Carnet (at least not for South Africans0, but if they do for you you can certainly just present the one you have. Remember the fuel situation in Zim is pretty dire at times so fill up whenever you can! Also the Zim border police tend to like asking for ridiculous paperwork so that they can extort money out of you... just be patient and firm and eventually they will leave you alone.. As Im sure you know you can go around Rwanda and Burundi, its still a great trip ( I went from Tanzania into Uganda and then Kenya via Suam river Border (beautiful!!).
Hope you have a brilliant trip!
Nice to hear about other Africans doing it.
Jim
PS Are you sure you need a visa for namibia? Most countries can get theirs at the border. cant believe Botswana is being so difficult too, what a bunch of muppets!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
