1981 Suzuki TS185 Stuck Clutch Cover
Hello Again,
I got my new clutch parts and I have all 6 of the screws out of the clutch cover. I know that the bike being very old has a lot to do with me not being able to remove the clutch cover.
I have removed the following:
1. The kick starter is off.
2. The 6 screws holding the clutch cover are out .
3. The cover plate where the clutch cable attaches to the splined clutch arm is off.
4. The clutch cable is not in play at all, since I removed the clutch arm. The clutch is not frozen, just in need of a rebuild.
I have tried lightly tapping the cover with no success. Are there "locating dowels" on this cover? I know some bikes have them, I'm just not sure if this one does. The clutch cover has been on probably since the bike was new.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
