Unsure if you're asking for model specific or general info.
If general, then retarding ignition timing is a simple way to cope with low octane fuel. Lowering compression also works, but is clearly a little more involved.
As for specific info about the DRZ250, I'm afraid I can't help beyond the basics Redboots has given. By being careful with the throttle and gears you can ride even on absolute rubbish fuel.
