DR650se speedo

Hi
Anyone out there in the UK got a speedo in MPH for a DR650se 1996--2012 that is for sale. I have the VOSA test for my imported DR at the end of the month and they have told me that they will not except stuck on numbers to change it from kmh to mph. If you have and you are willing to sell please get in touch asap. Thanks skip

I can sell you a new vinyl to stick over the complete dial. I got a few made when I imported my bike. It's not an overlay, but a complete black circle with MPH printed on it. Distance still measures in km/h but speedo looks like a factory MPH one. Interested?

PM me if you like?

Hey Skip, I actually opened mine up and put black tape over the 'M' on the dial, somehow did the trck and it passed. Make sure it has a 5w running light at the front end, I needed this to pass as mine didn't have one.

Hi Skip,

I've got an Australian DR650 (2012 model) and am thinking about registering it in the UK in a year or so. Is there much involved apart from changing the speedo?

Thanks, Andy

All you have to do is to change the speedo itself.
I did the reverse - my bike came from the US, and I needed a speedo in KMH

So now I have my MPH speedo, if you need it drop me a line at nii#gbg.bg

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
