Suzuki DR350 1999
Hi All.
I'm looking for some solutions to a problem I have.
EBC can supply a 320mm front disc conversion set for the 1999 DR350, which I have bought. Unfortunately this is only available for discs that have a six bolt fixing and mine only has four. A conversation with a Suzuki dealer suggests that all UK DR350's only had a four bolt disc and yet EBC list and supply one for the six bolt disc. Essentially I'm looking for a UK source that can supply a hub or wheel for the six bolt disc.
So here's a few questions:
Do any of you DR350 owners have a bike with a six bolt disc?
Have any of you done this conversion and found a way of overcoming this problem?
I've spoken to Alf Hagon and Talon, not able to help. Do any of you have any other suggestions as to possible suppliers of a six bolt hub?
Would a front wheel off a later DR (400?) fit straight into the 350 forks?
Any other ideas, thoughts or suggestions - please feel free to comment. I want to make this upgrade as the standard front brakes are pretty weak. I've already replaced the brake hoses with braided, thereby changing the fluid, and I'll renew the piston seals too. A set of sintered brake pads is en route.
Thanks in advance,
Geoff

Have you tried looking at a MX or Enduro model, I did the same conversion with a Yam and used WR front wheel, brakes better fits straight in as spindle diameter the same,I was able to use standard spacers and everything lined up OK.

Thanks Duxy.
I've now rejuvenated the brakes very successfully by doing some simple things - steel brake lines, new seals and EBC sintered pads. I've found that this has increased their efficiency enormously and I'm now happy with what I've got. Best of all is that I've saved a shed load of dough!
