Back to Blighty Blues:
Reality has set in Finally, I am no longer on the road. Tiger Lilly has been sold to a rich guy in Lima, my Bank balance is competing with the mercury levels in Braemar. Work is a 4 letter word. My riding clothes look on me as Oliver twist. I still pack & unpack every day?

Need serious help I guess? 2 years travelling, 16 months on the bike, North, Central & south America in my mind. Back to the coldest winter in 30 years? Still I have my memories, that will keep me going. I am still riding in the snow, Once Smitten never Shy.

Keep the faith, we will ride again soon..

I have got the same Blighty Blues as well, starting my new job tomorrow morning after spending a year working in Iraq/Kuwait and then 7 months touring Australia and another 4 around Europe.

It is going to be so hard to get my head back into wearing a watch/being in phone contact etc etc.

But I need to rebuild my fighting fund and gives me time back home with my parents who are getting a little fragile, healthwise.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
