Camping in Paris.

Evening everyone.
I'm going to France for a few days next month and I was wondering if anybody here could recommend a campsite as close as possible to central Paris or maybe even a cheap B and B or hostel etc?
I've been on 4 bike trips around France in the last few years but I've never been to Paris, so I'm looking forward to this trip.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction
Thanks.

It took me a good ten min's to find out the price. Turn's out to be 30 euro's a night tent and bike. I can get an F1 hotel for that price.

So it's take your pick.

Last June:
Renovated last year, very friendly and helpful staff, and a 15-min bus shuttle.
And yes, expensive. But I prefer camping with my Defender to any hotelroom any time

Bon voyage!,

Gee

Thanks for the info folks.
Yeah £30 per night is expensive for a campsite but i dont really have much choice if i want to camp inside the city limits.
Thanks again!

just a little word of caution in your ear :
Some areas of the Bois de Boulogne are notorious for all the wrong reasons aka crime, drugs, prostitution and the like- Keep your wits about you.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
