Works fine in IE though.
Good to know that IE works for you - that does say it's a Chrome issue at least - but just checked with my Chrome 18.0.1025.156 m and it's fine.

Try forcing a refresh in Chrome. Shift - F5 and see how that goes. It IS the contents of your cache that's the issue, but I fully understand your pain and reluctance. Forced refresh should sort it, maybe check you have the latest version. My Chrome is always updating it seems... OR maybe it's opera, or safari - I think I have too many browsers aaaaggghhhh. and thats on this computer - I have the same issue on ourt test Mac, and test XP, and test Vista. This is on Win 7. I haven't tested Chrome on all of them, so let me know what operating system you're on if it's not Win 7 and it's still not working and I'll test it.

I live in FF though. All the add-ons save me hours.

ANY idea what happened in between? I'd LOVE to know - you're about the 5th person to say they had that error message and I'd love to know when it stopped or what happened. I did change the minimum from 5 to 1 (the real minimum) at about 10am Pacific Time - 6pm GMT. BUT I see that's after it fixed itself for you.

thanks for letting me know - I'd hate to be chasing nothing for days!

When you're at the top of a thread which has 'Likes', the horizontal bar that displays the number of Likes breaks the drop-down lists from the 'New Posts' and 'Quick Links' buttons. (On IE9 here).

Hope that doesn't lead to hours of searching and more sighs in the wind!

(That sigh I heard in the wind the other morning had travelled right across the Atlantic - so yep, it must have been a real storm at your end!)

It is a great look. Now for a phone friendly app to complete the new outfit. When my wife buys a new dress she always buys new shoes as well. I am told that OBVIOUSLY she needs new shoes.

Sorry to be the awkward one.....but I hate it. A newbie would find it hard to navigate to the forum. I know that the "HUBB" is at the bottom of all those drop down menu's. But how about a quick link on the front page.

Smile As requested, HUBB is now the left-most menu item.

A link to the HUBB home page is now the left-most menu item on all pages except in the HUBB itself, where the far left item links to the Home page.

There is already a HUBB description and link on the Home Page, halfway down on the left.

A HUBB link is also on every Quick Links menu - that's the top line of the mega-menu, and the menu that displays for mobile users.

And of course, each mega-menu has the entire middle section devoted to HUBB topics.

I'd like to hear from the newbies to the site - are you having difficulty finding the HUBB?

Cheers
Susan

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
