Custom Paint Jobs - what's your favourite?

With reference to XT Girl's search for the owner of the BMW with the Ewan and Charlie custom paint job, I was about to wax lyrical about a custom paint job I'd once seen on that thread, but thought I'd start a new thread as I didn't want it to get off topic.

The best one I ever saw was on a lorry. The entire cast of 'Eastenders' rendered in a symphony of blue airbrushing. The whole gang were there, Grant, Pauline, Dot, whats-er-face who married Brian May, ooh...Anita Dobson! You can imagine the conversations at truck-stops the the length and breadth of the country. My suspicion is that most of 'em started "Why the f...!"

However, each to his own, I say. So what are the best you've seen? Cool ones are fine, but the more comedic the better. Given the preponderance of iron-brasiered, cougar taming princessess and bloody mawed lupines I've seen on bikes in the past, I expect some good answers!

Matt

Hi Peanutsdad, welcome to the HUBB and nice picture. With ref. to your quote, the RAF survival school's version goes:

"Red man builds small fire and keeps warm, white man builds big fire and keeps warm chopping wood."

Ride safe.

dog dangling days and nothing better to do....

here are my custom paint jobs for anyone interested...

Due to applying the wrong primer (actually it was the applying of the primer that caused the problem) the red pannels melted (only a little bit) so its back to good old black and white these days.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
