Hi people, thought I would pop in and say 'Hi.'

Quite a few people have private messaged me, and I've not replied - it's not me being rude, where I've been living in Spain we don't have internet access (or electricity to power a pc even if we did.)

Several people have asked if there is anything more to read about my travels. There isn't that much still on the net, and most of the magazines are getting on a bit now, or only available in ZA, but if you type Joel Burdall Honda into Google you can still find some stuff about both of my big trips and some of the smaller ones.

Also thought I would introduce 'A Bike Named Sue,' who is my current partner on my travels. Another old CG125, gone up market and got a newer model though. Check the handguards, are they pimp or are they pimp? I've not taken her anywhere exciting yet, but I'm riding back down to Spain tomorrow (came home for a funeral.) Hoping to do the trip in three days, which might be ambitious. If I earn enough money this summer, I fancy riding across to Asia. I'm contracted up until Oct so maybe I'll get the cash?

PS: Caminando - the Camino de Santiago was absolutely awesome, one of the best travel experiences of my life (so far, I know I'm still a youngun and have much to learn.) You were right - I barely missed the bike at all! I liked it that much, that if I can get the time away from work this year, I'm going to do it again. I couldn't believe how cheap it was either, didn't spend more than about 300 Euros, and ate and lived pretty well I thought. What a great experience, hope yours was as good.
