Made it Vlad - Thank you all!
Hi folks!
I just arrived in Vlad and I'm absolutely elated! It feels amazing to have got here.
Just want to say a huge thank you to all HUBBers for all the help you've given me either directly or indirectly. I wouldn't have left home without the HUBB, and I certainly wouldn't have made it here and be feeling so fantastic!
Thank you!
Al

Hopefully the ferry to Korea, then by air to Vancouver.
From There I'm planning to meander around the states until the HU meeting at the end of September.
I'd like to go south to Ushuaia, there's a couple of other brits heading that way, one I've met over here. Depends if the bank balance holds out.
Which it won't at Hotel Vladivostok prices!

Wish I'd known you were in Vlad before. Did you hook up with any local bikers? Like Alexei, Fridrih or Grandy?

Sounds like I'll finally meet you in Petrolia in a few days then... I made it to Vlad, Zarubino, Sokcho, Seoul and to San Francisco in the past week...

Home!
Well, here I am - home. 19,000 miles RTW in 147 days. An incredible experience, and I consider myself to be only taking a temporary break while I get my house in order before embarking on something a little bit more permanent....
This has been better than I ever imagined. I'm delighted to have made it all the way round, but desperate to go again.
Cheers to adventure biking!

New to Horizons Unlimited?
New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!
Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
