Merry Christmas to you all (From Malawi)
Hey all..
Another year nearly nearly over !! Where has it gone !!!
Well, Id like to wish you all a very merry christmas and New year. I'm on my way to Capetown and held up in a great backpackers place on Lake Malawi. Lifes a bitch eh !!
See some of you in the New Year and probably most of you at Riply or the mini meets...
Thanks to all the help people have giving me in planning, moral support and general good humour !
Rock on.............
Best Regards, Ted

Hey Ted
Have a good one! If you make it up to Livingstonia, check out the museum. Is the turntable with a vinyl record by the "Gay Darkies" still there?
cheers

Merry Christmas Ted. I'm following your African journey over on your blog .. and now looking forward to seeing the Ethiopia / Kenya / Uganda / Rwanda / Tanzania / Malawi pics when you find a fast internet (upload) connection.
Maybe we can meet-up in Ripley next June? Could be that greenmanalishi can introduce us, as I'm hoping to see him at the Cornish mini meet early next February.
Meanwhile, best wishes from me and a roast turkey
.. and my new Dalai Lama talking doll (from Asda) ..

Membership - help keep us going!
Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
