you will need a "poder" which is basically a document prepared by a lawyer that grants you the specific power to temporarily export the bike to CR. it will have to be signed by the owner of the bike.
make sure the nica insurance is current a valid through your return date. make sure the rodamiento (road tax sticker) is paid for 2017.
DO NOT show the bill of sale to anyone at either border. if they see it you are screwed since they will expect you to have transferred the bike to your name, which you will likely find IMPOSSIBLE unless you have permanent residency in nica. also, in the event that you do try to transfer it to your name, it needs to be done within 60 days of the date listed on the compra-venta (bill of sale) or you will be find a rather hefty amount.
no guarantees this will work but it should and has for countless others.
