poor finish on my new ride.
After much research and dithering I finally chop my trusty 2004 deauville for a 2008 strom 650. It seems by most accounts the ideal bike for my needs. It was cheap with many extras and looks Ok although it has been " painted up a bit" ( badly! ) No worries I can sort that. Having stripped it down for a good going over service etc... can't help feeling Mr Suzuki should get a new painter ! I can do better with a brush ! I was aware the finish is poor but my god it's poor. I have a 1981 yam sr250 with less corrosion, cant see this strom lasting 30 years. Sure don't make them like they used to
