Ride till I find work...
This is a bit of an odd one, but just want to chat/think out loud about what I have been thinking. I am a conservationist and will be graduating from my Masters in Cape Town. My parents plan to visit and we have a 3 month 4x4 overland adventure around southern africa. Now i have a DL 650 wee which is stuck in Zimbabwe (long story) but I figured if I haven't managed to find a job by the time I return fromt he trip I would get some kit and pick up my bike a ride north... I figured I would volunteer my time a skills along the way at various conservation organisations, gain experience in different countires and get my name out there. I have a competative CV but good conservation jobs can be a bit like hens teeth (Especially as I want to stay in africa). So it takes time to find work. I figured I would also spend some time in Rawanda sharpening up my french to broaden my options. I figured this is a good option and probably cheaper then sitting around in Cape Town, and I can live instead of just exist for those few months.
Good Idea?
