The "terraza" rooftop of our parking garage would make an excellent setting for a private club. The terraza offers a great view and plenty of room for private conversation and even dancing under bamboo sun shades.
This could be good! I remember Cuzco, Peru and a fantastice biker (Norton) bar right off the plaza. The Spy Bar would not be open to the public, but be open by invitation only to Hubbers, especially HU Bar Hubbers, who patiently have withstood tales of joy and tales of woe while drunk.
The Brahma Beer folks are currently sending half a dozen beautiful young women in hot pants, to any and all cafes all over the city, The Brahma women travel in 2 red and black camo vans with Brahma.com plastered all over the van and the women. they roll out an ice chest on wheels, set up and start handing out free Brahma Beers.
Of course, I am not a
drinker, nor do I approve in any way, the blatant exploitation of beautiful young Argentine women, but to be politically correct here and as potential cafe manager, I suppose I could force myself, with much effort, to invite these Brahma Beer people to the Spy Bar for our grand opening.
As distasteful as all this sounds, just know in your heart of hearts that by participating and drinking the free Brahma
you are, as a foreigner, serving as a participatory anthropologist experiencing a cultural experience, first hand, hopefully, and that perhaps someday these explorations may well be detailed in academic journals, or in your dreams.
Meanwhile, Jeff arrived today and now I have to go, as he wants to find the aforementioned Brahma Beer people and study them for a while , and so do I. This for the sole purpose of building up our tolerances to Brahma Beer and indeed learning how to properly interact with the Brahma women and their hot pants.
Women Hubbers are, of course also invited if and when the Spy Bar opens, the Brahma Beer promotional team also includes 2 male drivers, with whom, in the interest of cultural diversity, you may have to interact.
God Bless you All xfiltrate
