Etrex
Hey mate,
I've got a Garmin Etrex for you if you want it, it's the yellow handheld version, very robust and easy to use and set up for lat/long or MGRS etc. The basic of basic GPS's.
I've also got a Garmin 12CX, (colour screen upgrade to the 12XL used by the military) although it could do with a service as switches off with bumps if you put it on the dash or front of the bike but good for the pocket. it's a safety cut-off inside. Servicing is available with Garmin.
Both of them take AA batteries have worked well for me here in Iraq, a lot of it in monotonous area with no features to map read off so they were invaluable, Yes and lazy...... to any ex-squaddies out there LOL!!
I've upgraded to the Garmin 60Csx, the dogs in my opinion but not cheap!
Anyhow, give me an offer for either or both..? I'm back on Tuesday from Iraq and can post anywhere in the UK.
I've uploaded a picture and it should be on, hope so!
